Hello and welcome to THE BLASTOFFS website. We're a four-piece punk rock band from Rochester, NY. We don't have a label or a manager- we put out all of our CDs ourselves and book our own shows. We aren't looking to be on the covers of magazines and we don't have cute, emo haircuts. All we want to do is have a kick-ass time and play the same kind of punk rock we like to listen to- the good stuff, the simple stuff, the fun stuff. THE RAMONES, SOCIAL DISTORTION, SUPERSUCKERS, THE HUMPERS, ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, TURBO AC's, THE QUEERS- bands that don't take themselves too seriously. Bands that know you can't have punk rock without the "rock."

There are a couple songs off of each of our albums that you can download for free in the audio section. If you dig good, catchy, loud American punk rock then I recommend you give us a listen. And if you like what we're doing, what the hell- why not buy a CD or two? They're cheap and make great beer coasters.

Also be sure to check out our links section. Rochester may not be the cultural mecca of New York State but there's a hell of a lot of great music here and you can find links to Rochester's best bands right on this here website.

There are also photos, some videos, reviews of our CDs, and upcoming gigs. All sorts of stuff to occupy your time when you want to take a break from looking at internet porn.
